A MOPS Algae Growth Unit is a specialized, clear, plastic tank designed expressly for accelerated production of algae in a closed cultivation system.   The AGU's are the core, functional component of a completed MOPS.  With recommended spacing of one AGU for every 8 square feet, a complete MOPS  has about 5,450 AGU's per acre.  To complete the MOPS, the AGU's are housed in a specially designed, greenhouse-like housing and connected together for mass production and control.
